- Due to the competitive nature of business online today you need to address more ranking factors than just the Title and Description tags. My list currently has over 100 known ranking factors.
- If you have a dynamic site you need to use dynamic SEO techniques. Due to the size and nature of the Long Tail potential this is a must.
- Set up A/B and even multivariate testing on your PPC program using a professional copywriter to create the ads.
- Expand the PPC program to additional traffic sources.
- Submit to both paid and free additional directories.
- Set up a blog and have a professional writer work on it daily. Today this can be set up in days and using Plug Ins it will be taking advantage of some of the most important ranking factors such as Title and Description tags. The blogs should include short news style videos if you have the budget.
- Create a weekly video podcast of three to four minutes.
- Forums are a natural extension of blogs so you need to get that set up. Again these take no time at all to get started but do take time to work on.
- Social Media Marketing has the ability to deliver more visitors than you get from Google. It will create loyal readers and users who will also help you with content. We should have a plan to participate in these and use the powerful marketing potential these have.
- The site should be reformatted for Mobile users. This can be done with CSS and has potential to not only create more traffic but can be an additional profit center.
- With the addition of these areas of marketing additional profit centers will become available and should be explored.
